Critical review session.

We had a critical analysis of our work so far.

Firstly My intro at the time...
The main feedback on this was "MEH" which really doesn't help me however it's not interesting to catch the audiences attention therefore I know I need to improve this a lot before the next review session.

Cybernetic close up of Eye.

This was good as not many commented on it however they felt it should have been less eye movement so the VFX was shown off more by the use of a macro lens, which is what I used...

Street views as this would show of the Cybernetics Eye abilities in the trailer add to the believability of the story.
Note: I did get permission from Leeds City Council to film in these two locations and making a health and safety risk assessment.

Number 1 (Briddgate)

Liked the tracking cicrle in the film however thought it was bland and notthing was really happening therefore I need to add more VFX or something else.

Number 2 (Out side Nation of shopkeepers)

My peers preferred this one as there was more going on, however using the basic google maps, they thought it was a 'cop out' from me creating a actual stylised map, therefore I need to do something to that!  Secondly the theme here is different to the last one and they didn't like this therefore need a colour theme for this section/trailer to unify the whole.

Adding VFX to clips

My first testing of vfx - Cyber

I recorded my friends eye as an extreme close up with a macro lens to keep as much detail as possible.

So here is just a still of the eye.

The VFX I'll be placing on top of the eye are rings which shall be tracking the pupil of the eye using 2D tracking in after effects.

I'm doing this to give it a cybernetic feel plus keeps the theme of my idea.

Here are the circles to be placed on the eye.  I decided to make it white on black so that I can use the "add" effect in AE (after effects) plus the colour correction/tint will look more realistic.

END RESULTS

As shown above the tracking has worked very well, also I like the yellow tint as it stands out just enough to be seen but not ruining the effect.
